Built in1892, it is an archaeological museum with pieces dating back to the 3rd century of the Graeco-Roman (Ptolemaic) era. Some of the popular items include sculpture of Apis in black granite, mummies, tapestries, sarcophagus, the sacred bull of the Egyptians, all giving a peek into the Greco-Roman world.
