The island is in the Red Sea offshore from Hurghada, about 45 minutes by boat. If you relish watersports and want to have an adrenaline high then a trip to Giftun Island is a must. There are great avenues of snorkeling and diving from the offshore reefs. You might be fortunate to see some colorful corals as well.
